Took the Whiteday Creek trip a few weeks ago when americanwhitewater.org posted the river at 8.35'; this was a great level to run with some rapids around a (-III), but a very good rush, if you manage to fall in it's not a bad swim, just watch your butt on the rocks! At 4-6' it is a great run for exciting II's, trip total time little over an hour or so, very nice little run after work, easy put-in and a nice beachy type bank at take-out Edit

There is a tree across the river in the last set of rapids, just before the flat water above the last bridge. At 7' it is crossable, anything less is a trapping hazzard. Edit
