River DescriptionThis is a great spot to bring beginners to work on rolls, ferries, eddyturns, and pealouts.
Directions to putin from dallas 635 & 75 intersection Take 635 west for 16.3 miles Exit 121 north/Bass Pro Dr. and take a left on Bass Pro Dr. Take a left on 26. Take a right at FAIRWAY DR and go 0.5 mi Turn right into Grapevine Golf Course Turn right into the first parking lot. Park and carry down past both gates. Walk above the spillway to putin downstream on river-right. Take out on river right also to avoid trespassing on the golf course. HAZARDS: flying golf balls, poison ivy, swarms of gnats,and fishing lines. For more information, see Texas Whitewater. StreamTeam Status: verified
