Scout the Chute river left...watch out for lots of Poisin Ivy on trail. Run the Gorge start extreme right through the upper 2 ledges then move accross river left. Go through the gap in ledge #3 on the far left. Then aim toward center of the narrow "throat" section of the Gorge. Can be done down to 300 CFS. At levels over 500 CFS the Vermilion starts to roar.
