River Description

We noticed this stream while driving to and from the takeout for the Little North Fork Clearwater. We first ran it in 1998. Unable to find access to the section above the bridge, we ran the four miles below the bridge to the reservour. The run would be great at high levels except for the horrendous amount of wood. There are several riverwide jams, and many one log portages. The logs are a result of the close proximity of the logging roads. The fill sections of these roads gave way, making slides into the creek. To reach the takeout, drive down the road on river left to Breakfast Cr, then find your way back up the road to an ungravelled road that drops down to the reservour. For putin directions, see Clearwater, Little North Fork.
