River Description

A short rocky rapids created by an old rock weir. Good for beginners to practice peel-outs and deep enough for enders.

The "George and Weezy" picture was taken during a severe thunder storm complete with hail, nearby tornadoes and flash floods. The flow in the picture is about 600 cfs and quickly went much higher.

To get there, take Hwy.4 south out of Jefferson, IA.
