The Still River Gorge feeds into the Sandy just below the Sandy takeout. From the Rt. 8 bridge over the Sandy, follow the road that extends from the downstream side of the bridge. Take this road to the first right, about a mile away. This right takes you over the Sandy on a bridge. This is the Still takeout.

<br />
Cross this bridge and follow the road to the first left, a 1/4 mile away. This left takes you to the bridge over the Still River Gorge. Put-in just upstream.

This is a cool section to do after or before doing the Sandy. It's harder than the Sandy though. But it's an easy scout.
