parallel to S. 1st ST II-III+
River DescriptionA big thank you to oopsyhuck and rusty the wonder dog for all the info and pics.It is about a two mile trip, with continuous II+, and the crux section was III. I like the tight one-lane feel of small creeks. You try to miss the rocks, but you hit half of 'em. There are no eddies, and things change around every corner. Put-in:W. Mary St. Take-out:S. 1st St. at Barton Springs Rd. Things to look out for: one hazardous pipe across the creek a diversion grate and numerous low-water bridges that could be deadly at higher water levels. More info to come.
