River Description

We have rumors of runs on the Mineral RIver, but no first-hand knowledge of the reach. What appears here is based only upon perusal of topo maps. It appears the best gradient may be found on the 2.5 mile reach as laid out here. It is unknown whether this is truly feasible, or if the runs were further downstream (lower gradient, but larger drainage area, therefore perhaps more sizeable to allow reasonable boating).

Anyone with first-hand knowledge is encouraged to provide data via the "Comment" tab, "Add a Comment" button.
