River Description

This is mostly a class I run with the potential for tree strainers. Kisatchie Falls is class III and there is a submerged tree about 20ft downstream of the falls. There is also a good rapid located at the Kisatchie Bayou Campground. Kisatchie Falls and the Kisatchie Bayou Campground are both good park and play spots. Call the Ranger Station at (318) 472-1840 to check the level.
