River Description

Meadow Creek flows 35 miles dropping over 4,500 feet through a remote region of Idaho.  The run is tiny at the top and is a large creek by the time it enters the Selway.  A significant part of the river corridor has no trails near the river, and the run contains multiple portages and difficult sections of whitewater.   The river is almost entirely in an inventoried roadless area, lacking formal protection.
