Gauge Description:

There is a paddler's high limit line painted on a rock across from the Propulsion Rafting facility along the Seven Sisters Section. River levels above this line (150 cms) are class V on the lower section and all commercial rafting stops.

Le Centre d’expertise hydrique du Québec Gage

The Suivi Hydro Gage (ID 040204) is located in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, approximately 90-100 miles downstream of this section. As such, gage levels will reflect the river condition on this section as it was a day or two earlier, so use gage readings as a general guideline only.

To calculate estimated flow on the Rouge 21 Mile section, divide the Grenville gage reading by 6.25 (multiply by 0.16).

Gage levels are reported in Meters Per Second; multiply by 35.3 to convert to CFS.
