River DescriptionThe local name for this rapid, "Hells Bells", gives a good indication. Steep, narrow, and twisty, this is a classic creek run in the Adirondacks. Be sure to walk this section to inspect for wood. This is often combined with a run down the Upper Glen Creek. These can be combined with other local river trips, such as Mill Creek, Boreas River, or Hudson River. StreamTeam Status: deleted

There is no gage here, although if the North Creek gage of the Hudson River is over 7.0, then Glen Creek may be up. The best gage is to look upstream from the Glen Creek bridge on route 28 - if it looks good, then it probably is.
