This is a fun run for class I and II paddlers centrally located near Seacoast NH and Southern ME. Most of the river is easily boat scouted by experienced paddlers, who will find several fun small drops and a few small surfing waves. At Very High levels there are several spots with large wave trains and fast turbulant water - be sure, of course, to use caution with strainers on this and any "little" river.
If the water level is up to or flooding the small marshy area directly accross from the parking area (take-out) on Hubbard Road in No. Berwick, than the river above is runnable.
A more detailed description can be found in the AMC River Guide to Maine (and the NH / VT AMC guide as well)
