River Description
This long reach may be shortened substantially via a number of road crossings.
Reportedly, there are some technical boulder garden rapids and a few good playable waves (particularly near CR131/133).
I have no firsthand knowledge of this reach, but analysis of topo maps suggests the following:

Gradient picks up a bit. River is narrow and winding, with one rapids after another. Just above the confluence of the West Branch (above CR 131) there is 1 mile at 23FPM, though the flow from the West Branch may be needed for good paddling at lower flows. |
