Gauge

Gauge Description:

The above gauge *seems* to provide an OK correlation for Cub Run. But use it with caution, as the gauge is on a different stream. Around 5 ft. appears to be a good minimum based several 2003 observations.

Locals often post levels on the Monocacy Canoe Club message board Paddle Prattle. A painted gauge is on the Route 29 bridge on the downstream side of the western abutment. Zero appears accurate with 1 to 3 feet making for a good run. At Yahoo (4 Ft.) the creek flushes through the trees.
