Check the IFLOWS gauges for rainfall and check #1059 Robinson Knob in Wise County, VA. 1.5" will usually create 18-24 hours of flow. TheThe maximum flow is just a guess. -- Mostly it is a visual thing, if it looks like there is enough water in the first 1/8 mi. of rapids then there will be plenty of water for the entire run. If the Little Stony looks borderline, check out the Guest...there should be plenty of water there.
