Visual. Look for flows of 100-300 cfs based on Bennett. Although there is no gauge for this stream the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation's Yakima Project does maintain a gauge downstream at the confluence where the mainstem Teanaway starts. The Teanaway at Forks provides discharge at this point. Look for flows of around 1000 cfs on this gauge during April, May, and early June.
