Gauge

Gauge Description:

Gauge levels are for optimum play levels at the ledge and lower rapid. Takes ~3 hours for the water to fully arrive at the ledge once generation at Remmel Dam starts. Requires minimum of 3-hour continuous generation of 3600+ CFS to provide adequate flows at the ledge.

Flows above the ~3600 CFS normal generation flow tend to start flushing-out many of normal spots. Eddies get fewer and ferries more difficult.

Flows above 9000 CFS generally consist of mainly fast current and leaves little play. An aggressive hole delvelops just right of center around 7500 to 9500 CFS.

Flows below 2000 CFS reduce the playspots to just a few shallow spots.
