Gauge Description:
The Clinch @ Speers Ferry should be 7500 and rising for a run on the Mountain Fork. Also, the Powell @ Big Stone Gap should be 1000 and rising.The Camp Rock #1033 and Stony Creek #1148 gauges are indicators of rainfall in the watershed. During fall/winter/spring months, look for 1.25"+ of rain for this creek to have enough water. During the summer months, look for upwards of 2" of rain for a run.
There is also a Stony Creek #1149 stream gauge. This is new along with the Stony Creek rain gauge above, so pay close attention to these when the stream is at runnable flows.
