Event 1: The boat stack and climb

Four boats need to be stacked, strapped, down and climbed over. The NRS straps must go through the D-rings of all four boats, and during the climb only one person can be off the ground at a time. Fastest time wins.

Once the gear is loaded in, the team lifts the raft and races back to the starting line. If any equipment hits the ground while the boat is in the air, they are assessed a 5 second penalty, if any gear is unclipped at the finish line they will be assessed a 5 sec. penalty for each piece of gear. Teams may use carabineers if they wish, but everything can clip in without them.

  • 2nd place 3 pts.
  • 3rd place 1 pt.
