American Whitewater’s work on rivers throughout the country is endless, but our funding isn’t. As part of our effort to serve the paddlers of this country, AW is seeking support from members of the paddlesport community at all levels.
Currently, our stewardship staff and a vast network of volunteers are hard at work to improve access and river quality for over 75 rivers nationwide. This work will open previously closed rivers, improve public access, conserve land, and create more opportunities for whitewater paddlers to enjoy our rivers.
There are numerous whitewater outfitters that have thriving rafting, instruction, and whitewater outfitting shops thanks to the work of American Whitewater and our allies. More river access and more scheduled releases brings more paddlers, more boats, more gear, and more sales.
How can you not afford to support American Whitewater’s river stewardship work? The success of your business depends on it.
American Whitewater’s national partnership program is designed to provide national promotional opportunities for companies who support AW’s river stewardship work. Support of AW’s river stewardship programs is made through financial contributions and donation of product and goods. This program has a level for every national company in the outdoor community.
American Whitewater needs the support of local whitewater outfitters, instruction programs, and support businesses to help promote our work on a local level. American Whitewater has launched a new regional based partnership program that provides easy opportunities for any sized business to support our river stewardship efforts. As part of the Regional Partnership Program American Whitewater will provide unique marketing opportunities, including website advertising on our river pages and in the redesigned Gear, Guides, and Services.
American Whitewater’s Business Partnership program is the easiest way for members of the outdoor industry to support AW’s River Stewardship efforts locally and nationally. If you are interested in joining the Partnership program please contact Ben VanCamp at (828) 713 - 5825.
