**Biography:** I was born and raised in the river bottoms of Indiana.  My Father introduced me to kayaking was I was  nine years old.  I began going on trips with him every weekend and was skilled enough to run the Ocoee river by the time I was eleven.  When I was twelve I joined the wrestling team and spent the next 9 years completely absorbed by that until my Junior Year of College.  I drifted away from the sport and eventually quit.  After that my Dad who was still kayaking asked me if I want to go on a week of rivers.  We did and soon after that I was addicted and moved to the Southeast where I have been kayaking ever since.  Now 30 years old kayaking is still all I ever want to do.
