Savage River Release Possible in Mid-October

Bad News...The Upper Potomac River Commission has denied our request for a water release on the Savage this year. We expect all the interested organizations to help support a focused drive to to get an annual whitewater release for the Savage. American Whitewater has agreed to take the lead on this, but it is obvious from long discussions with UPRC & others that we will only be successful if we demonstrate that many groups want to have annual releases. Please let us know if you would like to help volunteer and work on this project.
