Bystanders pull unresponsive
floater from Boise River near Kristin Armstrong Park

A woman was pulled
unresponsive from the Boise River at 1:56 p.m. Saturday, according to a news
release from the Boise Fire Department.The incident happened just upstream from
Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park.
Witnesses say the woman’s
raft began losing air, and she was unable to get out of the current. Bystanders
pulled the woman out of the water and began CPR. Boise Police and Boise Fire
arrived shortly after and took over life-saving efforts.
The woman, who was not
wearing a life jacket, never regained consciousness and was transported to a
hospital, fire officials said. Her condition is unknown.
