American Whitewater is working with several partners through the National Park Service Rivers and Trails Conservation Assistance Program to develop an updated recreation plan for the upper Nooksack River basin. Paddlers are well aware of the high quality recreational resources found on the forks for the Nooksack and their major tributaries. The goal of this planning project is to develop a strategy for managing recreation use while maintaining the integrity of the natural resources in the area and minimizing potential conflicts. Opportunities exist to improve the recreational experience along these rivers and you can help by taking 10 minutes to answer some questions regarding your own recreation experiences in and along the upper Nooksack. This survey is designed to give you an opportunity to provide us with information that might help improve your future experiences on the North, Middle, and South Fork Nooksack River.
