American Whitewater is so grateful for our volunteers! Our Volunteers of the Month for November are Charlie and Karin Guilbault of California.

Over the past 10 years, the Feather River Festival has grown to be the largest river festival on the West Coast. The success of this event would not be possible without key volunteers who work tirelessly to make this event a reality. Charlie and Karin Guilbault are two of those volunteers. They have been at virtually every Feather Fest for over a decade, and usually show up early on Friday to set up the slalom course and typically do not leave until the last bit of trash is picked up on Sunday. For the last few years Karen has taken on the task of tabulating the slalom results, while Charlie is busy running the silent auction booth. Their time commitment and dogged support of American Whitewater exemplify what makes us the best river conservation organization on the planet.

In recognition of their efforts, Charlie and Karin will receive custom Kokatat WoolCore Shirts. Thanks so much Charlie and Karin for your help, not only at this year's Feather Fest, but at all of those in years past.

Join AW and support river stewardship nationwide!
