Please save the date for a Cedar River Recreation Workshop. King County is developing the Cedar River Corridor Plan to address multiple objectives related to floodplain management and salmon recovery including consideration of impacts and opportunities for recreation in the corridor.

Time: Monday, June 15th, from 5:30-8:00 PM
Location: Renton Technical College, Culinaire Room, 3000 NE 4th St, Renton, WA 98056

The Recreation Workshop will be highly interactive and focused on getting public input on recreation uses, issues, and interests in the Cedar River Corridor. The basic format will be to have some opportunities for preliminary feedback from 5:30-6:00 as participants are arriving, a short presentation and plan overview from 6:00-6:20, and an interactive mapping exercise with report out from 6:20-8:00. Input provided will help inform site-specific as well as river-wide options for potential recreation mitigation and enhancement opportunities in the Cedar River Corridor.

If you plan to attend, please let us know by registering. This will ensure that we can acoomodate all who wish to participate. If you can not attend but have specific information on recreational use of the Cedar River including recommendations for improvements to public access along the river, please send those to us at American Whitewater.
