Our longtime Membership Director, Carla Miner, has announced her retirement effective at the end
of this year. Many of you have exchanged emails or spoken on the phone with Carla over the years.
Carla’s pleasant disposition and helpful attitude have set a high bar for membership
expectations. Please join with me in wishing Carla all the best as she steps away from her
important role at American Whitewater.
Her impending retirement leaves open an extremely important job within the American Whitewater
team. We are now conducting a search for an energetic, personable and organized individual to
maintain and grow our membership sales and management program. This individual must be able to
promote membership sales through outbound and inbound sales efforts, networking and cultivating
member relationships. Candidates must be enthusiastic and demonstrate success in developing
lasting relationships with the membership base. This position requires a self-starter with strong
customer service and marketing experience. Candidates must provide professional and courteous
member service and respond to all email and phone messages promptly. They will maintain the
member database and assist members with their website user accounts.
