Abstract
Dam removal will bring major changes to whitewater recreation on the Upper Klamath. To ensure that those changes are positive will require careful planning now—before the dams come out. This pamphlet outlines the challenges, issues, and opportunities for post-dam whitewater recreation. Our goals are to minimize or mitigate losses to existing whitewater opportunities, to support the outdoor recreation economy and local businesses, and to provide opportunities for future river runners and the general public to enjoy the Upper Klamath and to develop personal connections to a restored river.Description
