A quarter mile of class II leads to the Route 1 overpass, where the river turns right and drops over a 4-foot ledge. The ledge contains a slide on river right, a 4-foot boof in the center, and (at higher flows) a sneak on river left. Scout from river right. An excellent surf wave sits just upstream of the ledge, left of center. Class II follows for another quarter mile.
