River Description

Mill Creek's little sister. Lots of easy slids on shale bedrock. Absolutely worth a look if Mill Creek is a bit high, or you have extra time after another run. A good run for newer boaters.

Yes, the big drop above the put-in has been run (by Eric Adsit).

Gage Descriptions

The Independence is a good gauge to use as an indicator, but if there has been recent rain or heavy snow melt don't wait for the gauge to come up. These creeks flash flood and are easy to miss.
