A fine 'up north wilderness' run, with generally light, riffle-bed rapids.

Drainage at our put-in is ~134 square miles (as calculated by USGS StreamStats 4.2.1).

A minor 'squeeze' precedes the powerline crossing, acting as signal that some fine gradient lies ahead.

As the river passes approaches (and runs parallel for just a bit) high powerlines, you'll encounter a minor rapids followed by a fine bit of splishy-splash rips.
