High velocity creek run for when everthing else is high. Steep boulderbed above the South Boundary Rd culvert leads into an incredible series of good sized slides under a pine bower in close sequence below. Very beautiful spot and worth a visit even if one does not have runnable flows, if only to dream.

Perhaps as little as 3.8 square miles at the point of our indicated put-in, up to maybe 4.25 square miles at lower loop off S.Boundary Road.

This section is right after coming through the large drainage tunnels. Helge is standing on a severely undercut rock in the middle of the river. Safety here is a good thing.
This is one of the sweetest slides you'll ever run. I'd like to call it 'Energizer'...it keeps going, and going, and going.
This is the bottom portion of the loooong slide, which I call 'Energizer'

A short run with some big slides.
Generally best when the water is
high.

The Union comes up with rainfall melting the snowpack. On this day the 'river' flashed up ten inches in an hour.
