River Description


Nice slow class I float with an occasional Class II riffle. Many places to access although it flows through private land for much of the way.

This section is bounded by the National Forest on the left and crosses under the Hwy 412 freeway after passing Twin Mountains.
Kincheloe Road Hwy 68 Roadside Park 4.1 miles 4.5 ft/mi
This section is bounded by the National Forest on the left.
Osage Creek enters on the right after ~1 mile bringing wastewater flow from the several NW Arkansas Cities.
The river crosses under the Hwy 412 freeway and Chamber Springs Road before reaching the park.
Hwy 68 Roadside Park Hwy 16 near Siloam Springs 4.6 miles 5 ft/mi
This section exits the National Forest about halfway to Hwy 16.

Can be combined with upstream or downstream sections for longer trips.
