East Bouldin Creek

River Description

Continuous II+, and with a crux section at class III. This small creek has a tight one-lane feel. You try to miss the rocks, but you hit half of 'em. There are no eddies, and things change around every corner.

Put-in: W. Mary St. at approximately 505' elevation.

Take-out:S. 1st St. at Barton Springs Road at approximately 475' elevation.

Look out for one hazardous pipe across the creek, a diversion grate, and numerous low-water bridges that could be deadly at higher water levels.
