Summary of Gauge Readings

There is no gauge for this creek.  Texas Whitewater suggests using the Cibolo Creek gauge as a proxy (300+ cfs) and correlating with the NWS rain gauge at Pipe Creek.  Unfortunately, however, the Cibolo Creek gauge in question has been decommissioned.  The Medina River at Bandera could be a possible proxy.

County to Vote to Extend Closure on Guadalupe Tonight (TX)

2002-07-11 00:00:00-04
Jason Robertson

The Comal County Commissioner's Court is taking measures that will restrict access to the Guadalupe River indefinitely. AW's primary objective on the Guadalupe is to restore access as soon as possible and to make sure that boater access does not impede on-going rescue and recovery efforts.
