Neils Creek, Texas, US
|Usual Difficulty||I-II (for normal flows)|
|Avg. Gradient||14 fpm|
We are aware of some whitewater interest on this stream. We have no specific information
regarding recommended put-in or take-out, or the actual difficulty of the run (class I-II is
based solely upon the fact that the listed gradient of less than 20 FPM is spread quite evenly
though the reach.) What is listed here is the 'full extent' of the creek, from the confluence of
the two main branches down to the confluence with the Bosque River.
Indicated put-in elevation is approximately 846'.
Indicated take-out elevation approximately 578'.
Thus total elevation change is approximately 268'.
Shuttle length is 20 miles.
Again, this is only preliminary information, pending update by someone with more specific knowledge of this reach.
