140 - 300 cfs somewhat Low-barely Low I-II gauge is important or has warning Technically boatable, but really very scrapy. Might be good for a very timid boater that is very new. Expect some new scratches on that boat.
300 - 700 cfs med runnable-a bit pushy runnable II-III gauge is important or has warning Best flow for small play. Low end of this range is a little scrapy.
700 -1200 cfs barely runnable-high runnable II-III gauge is important or has warning Good flow and getting bigger. More wave trains and some catch on the fly stuff starts to pop up. Many of the big play spots are still in.
1200 -2500 cfs a bit pushy runnable-high runnable III gauge is important or has warning Flow is starting to get quite fast, some stuff has washed out, fun wave trains, and some playspots may be gone. Some of the banks are in the water.
3500 -5000 cfs a bit pushy runnable-high runnable III-IV gauge is important or has warning Very big and fast. Expect most things to be washed out, but what is still there to be big. Swims at this level can be very bad at this level.
5000 -20000 cfs barely High-extremely High V+ gauge is important or has warning Anything above 5000 cfs is not recommended. Some have gone higher than this, but not much. Bridges may be unpassable.
