This is a flashy watershed and the Delta gauge often does not accurately reflect the levels of this watershed. If you are not familiar with the South Tyger, I suggest soliciting local information. For current information about river levels, email Jim Spears

. You will have to join these groups to post but they are open to the public. You may pick up some local paddlers as well. I have not run this reach. We are waiting for cool weather (no snakes and mosquitos) and enough water to give it a go.
