April 18, 2026: Lower, but still a fun and repeatable flow. I was surprised I had never heard of this section of river until Priscilla's boss (a drift boater) told her about it this last winter. Drift boats don't usually run this stretch, but it is well known in their community as a section to avoid as it is a bit spicy for drift boats, they instead do stretches of the Trask above and below it but can see it from the road on their way to said sections. I felt the run was bordering on classic intermediate for Oregon and was even a touch intimidated by the hydraulics in the class IV Dam Hole rapid. We found the run to be quality and something we will return to, being less than 15 minutes from downtown Tillamook.
