Trip Report

ReporterGeorge Michie

Ran from 722 down to the confluence with the James tandem in canoes 8/9/20 at ~78 cfs or 3.03 ft on the Greenfield Gauge. This was runnable (one or two scrapes that were hard to avoid) and enjoyable. There is a class two rapid below the remains of a bridge abutment (river right) that does have some metal sticking up at the top of the rapid but easily avoided. Nice stretch and we'd do it again at that level or higher.
