Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park(Sechelt Narrows)
The Perception Full Tilt and its smaller version, the Spin (pictured here), never got the acclaim they should have. A great river runner? No. A fun hole boat? No. Comfortable? No. But the flat bottom, ultra-hard chine, and extra narrow profile made it one of the best Skook boats around, almost as if it were built just for this wave. And the purple and green colors? They match the starfish and sea anemones that decorate the seafloor beneath the wave, in an unintentional act of biomimicry the boat just fits in.
