Salmon
7 - Carey Creek to Riggins

Replica of a Scow, a large wooden sweep boat as used by Captain Guleke to make float trips down the Salmon River. Beginning in the late 1890's Cap would build these boats for the one-way trip down the river to deliver supplies and then sell the boat for the value of the lumber once he completed the trip. Cap would also take passengers down and these trips continued into the 1930's.
