Fike Run
Road crossing 5 mi. up from Gibbon Glade Run to Gibbon Glade Run(Fikes Creek)
This is the view looking into the Room of Doom entry. Martin says, "Hey do you think I can catch that eddie"? I say, "what eddie". "Oh, you mean that one in front of the (slight) undercut". Anyway,, the picture doesn't show it well, but Martin is dropping about 5ft vertically on an approximately 45-degree sloping rock. The hole, if you get stuck there, can be pretty darn sticky. By the way, the rock on the right is slightly undercut too. It does a good job of making you flip (and flush out) if you get too close to it.
