Ok, got to run this after a recent rainfall - The creek is mostly class 1 but I can see some of the rapids becoming a class II at higher water. You will find strainers on most if not all rapids, but the majority of them are avoidable. I didn't check the gauge, but I will tell you that if the water is clear (you can see the bottom) its too low, if the water is muddy, there are no visable rocks (by Wick's), and the water isnt pressing over the banks, this should be considered minimum running level.
It is a fun creek and great for those who want an easy/relaxing trip - watch out for metal and garbage!.
