We ran from Gatewood Bridge to Brewster Bridge in tandem open canoes (17' Old Town Tripper, and a 16' Old Town Discovery) back in 2002. To this day, that was maybe my favorite stream I've ever run. Beautiful, remote, and frequent Class II rapids that were fun but not dangerous or scary. It was running about 600 cfs which was perfect.
