Reed Creek

Kayaked this loop with my children ages 10 to 17 in about 30 minutes with ease at about 500 cfs. At the end of the loop we portaged river left around the dam and then continued downstream to the New. Then we turned downstream (left) on the New and pulled out at Rt 100. Total time start to finish 4 hrs. There was an awesome heron nesting ground about half way between the dam and the New river, hundreds of Great Blue Herons and about 40 nests. April 20, 2020
