Winooski River

Okay so I lied, this rapid is not on this section of the Winooski so don't worry if you are paddling this section you won't run into this, however I felt it worthwhile to let people know that in downtown winooski you will find a set of ledges (Class IV) above a dam (don't swim!). This shows the run out of these ledges at pretty high water. The damn is about 200 yards downstream in this pictures. To get there turn into the parking lot on the right before the bridge (heading north).
