Big Creek

We ran it 11/18/2016 when Queets was 7270 cfs. Had 6 easy portages before getting to the canyon. We ran the ledge at the entrance of the canyon and saw logs at the big drop where both sides are vertical walls. We paddled back up to the River Left eddy, walked across and climbed the hill to scout the drop from the River Right. As it didn't look safe, we walked out. Fortunately, it was a short walk to the road. We flagged the trailhead. If I ever go back, I would scout the canyon first. It is only 1/4 mile from the Takeout.
