This a great section of whitewater, starts with a bit or flatwater before rapids begin. 1st rapid has a big siphon, stay right. Unfortunately there is a lot of development happening right now due to a housing development on both sides of the creek. Bridge at Rockville is closed to vehicles, complicating the shuttle if you have some in your crew also doing the Lower Big Sandy.
